qpaper

Privacy Policy

Effective 17 June 2026

This policy explains what data qpaper collects, why, and your choices. qpaper is the data controller.

1. What we collect

  • Account data — your name and email, via our sign-in partner, when you create an account.
  • Papers you generate — the blueprint you choose and the resulting paper, so you can re-download it.
  • Payment data — when you buy a pass, our payment partner processes the transaction; we receive a payment confirmation but not your full card details.
  • Usage data — basic, mostly anonymous analytics and server logs to keep the service working and prevent abuse.

2. How we use it

We use your data to:

  • provide the service — generate, store and let you re-download your papers;
  • operate your account and apply your free-tier or paid quota;
  • process payments and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • improve the product and respond to support requests.

3. AI generation

Questions are generated server-side by an AI model. We send the syllabus topic and generation parameters to our AI provider — never your personal account data.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what's necessary with the service providers that run qpaper:

  • Clerk — account sign-in and authentication.
  • Razorpay — payment processing.
  • Supabase — database hosting.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • DeepSeek — AI question generation (server-side only).

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the service. We don't use them to track you across other websites.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and generated papers while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Email support@qpaper.in and we will act on genuine requests.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
